Youngsville ABC Store - Franklin County, North Carolina
S&EC was brought in by the project architect and site civil engineer to assist with obtaining the on-site, subsurface septic system permit for this commercial building. The site plan, grading plans, building plans, and proposed utilities were already set prior to finalizing the septic details. There was a small portion of the property set aside for the initial and repair septic. S&EC worked with the local health department to evaluate the soil/site conditions on the small portion of the property, determine the type of septic drain lines to be utilized, and figure out the details of the drain field. Due to the small septic area and proposed site improvements, this septic system utilized T&J Panel vertically oriented prefabricated permeable block panel (PPBPS) drain lines with pump to pressure manifold distribution. The septic system was designed by a wastewater engineer and was permitted through Franklin County Health Department. This ABC store is now open to the public.
